"What is Taiwan/China like?"

I am a first generation born in the United States to parents who both fled the communist takeover of China in the early 1900's to Taiwan. Both countries have rich histories of contributing to the learning and progress of humankind. Advancements in technology, architecture and engineering, business and the arts can be clearly seen throughout history.

"What do you cherish most about your cultural heritage?"

I cherish the cuisine from all parts of China and Taiwan. There is such a variety of types and dishes that are not only tasteful, but also beautiful in presentation. From dim sum, to fried fish, to hot pot, there is always a culinary adventure awaiting!
