I Feel Most Beautiful When Dancing...

"What is Punjab like?"

Punjab is full of cultural diversity and farmland. Punjab is known for its vast farming land and generations are raised on on learning how to farm and appreciate the beauty of Punjab. Throughout the pinds (villages) of Punjab, you can find different Punjabi dialects and different cultural customs. Punjab is very welcoming since you grow up being friends with everyone in the pinds (villages). Punjab has Patiala which is the largest and most famous shopping center.

"What do you cherish most about your cultural heritage?"

Punjab has two types of dancing which are Bhangra and Giddha . Bhangra and Giddha allow me to let loose and have fun and when doing these dances I feel the most beautiful. When doing Giddha for fun or at weddings, women get to wear maang tikka, phulkari, and parandis. I also cherish Punjabi poetry since it’s talk about the history of Punjab and provides more knowledge about my culture.
