Big Meals To Express Unconditional Love…
“What is your African American culture like?”
"What do you cherish most about your cultural heritage?"
The thing I cherish most about African American culture is the warmth and lovingness. With my African American family, I always feel loved and safe. They have a way of expressing their love through things like incredible food and material things which they always shower me with (especially when I go back home to LA, I can always be sure to have a big meal and little gift waiting for me). I can be authentically myself and there’s nothing more that I enjoy than spending a good time with my family at a cookout and goofing around with my cousins having the best time singing and dancing.
